The Sales & Marketing function at Cosmo Advisory Co is responsible for defining and executing medium- to long-term market growth strategies aligned with the firm’s core philosophy of clarity, intelligence, and long-term value creation. The team works closely with Strategy, Finance, Technology, and Leadership to build sustainable demand, manage revenue planning, and shape Cosmo’s client and partnership portfolio in line with overall business objectives.

Rather than focusing on aggressive selling, Sales & Marketing at Cosmo emphasizes trust-based growth, strategic positioning, and high-quality client alignment. Success in this function depends on disciplined execution, ethical conduct, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to think beyond short-term targets.

Hiring Philosophy

Cosmo Advisory Co hires primarily based on talent, skills, and real-life capability, not just academic credentials.

  • Graduates from any discipline are eligible

  • Final-year students (Semester 6 onwards) may apply

  • In special cases, candidates may be hired after 12th standard if exceptional ability is demonstrated

Selection is based on practical thinking, problem-solving ability, and real-world demonstration of skills. Degrees support credibility, but capability determines selection.

Compensation Structure

Cosmo follows a performance-aligned entry compensation model.

  • First 6–8 months:

    • Compensation is linked to work contribution, results, and profit impact

    • Revenue or growth-based sharing applies during this phase

  • Post-evaluation:

    • A fixed salary structure is introduced

    • Performance-based incentives continue

This structure ensures fairness, accountability, and long-term alignment between individual growth and company growth.

Hiring & Firing Framework — The 7 & 8 Rule

All team members are evaluated weekly using a 1–10 performance scale.

  • 8–10: High-impact contributors with growth and leadership potential

  • 7: Stable performers who continue with development support

  • Below 7 (consistently): Performance improvement process or exit

Decisions are objective, data-driven, and transparent, ensuring merit-based continuity.

Work Structure & Skill Utilization (7:3 Ratio Rule)

Employees are hired for a primary role (Sales, Marketing, Development, Strategy, etc.), but Cosmo encourages multi-skill contribution.

  • 70% of time → Primary role responsibilities

  • 30% of time → Secondary skills (e.g., video editing, finance support, research, automation)

This structure builds agile teams, faster execution, and stronger individual capability.

Recruitment Process

All candidates undergo a 100-point structured evaluation, including:

  • Psychological assessment

  • Aptitude and logical reasoning

  • Problem-solving capability

  • Role-specific technical evaluation

  • Real-world scenario questions

The process is designed to test thinking ability, discipline, and decision-making, not rote knowledge.
